21th October 2022. 8 hours. Intensive from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00h.

OBJECTIVES

The students will be able to acquire the knowledge for the handling and programming of the numerical control of the milling machine, applicable to machining centres.  Both in ISO programming language and in Manual Guide, at a more advanced level, to be able to get more performance from the machines they work with.

CONTENT

Programming in ISO language:

• Review of the general structure of a program.


• Simulation.


• Subprograms (M98).


• Drilling cycle (G81).


• Repetition of holes and threads.


• Introduction to parametric language.

Programming in MANUAL GUIDE:

• Introduction in Manual Guide.


• Manual Guide canned cycles.


• 2d Pockets in Manual Guide.


• Conversion of programs from MANUAL GUIDE to ISO.
